not very good

The graphics are terrible and the games are not much fun. Surely, not worth the money. I don't generally bother writing reviews, but I feel I should warn others. I don't know what the people who gave it good reviews are thinking.
Active Life Not Active Here

Review Date: May 9, 2010
Reviewer: Boston Mom,
We told our kids that we would only buy "active" games for the Wii. I thought this game would be fun and keep our kids active. We were very disappointed. The mat slips all over the place so we had to tape it down, which sort of worked except the mat kept wanting to bunch up. The graphics are cheesy. Some of the games require you to get down on your hands and knees and bang on the mat with your hands. This hurts your hands, wrists, etc... After the first day of owning this game, my kids never went back to it. They said it "wasn't fun".

My son truely loves the game. I bought it for his eleventh birthday. It was a great gift at a great price. It was cheaper than other places that I searched. I am a single mom to four kids and money is tight. I feel the price was very reasonable. Jewel
This is an entertaining game.

My kid is all over the room playing wii. This game puts him in one place jumping around just as much.
It is fun for adults too.

The game is fun and difficult. I guess I need practice. I purchased for my 4 and 5 year old and they have a little difficulty playing. I would recomend for older children. Other than that it is fun and gets the heart pumping.
Little entertainment value here and very little activity.

Reviewer: KiMBeRLy,
I was looking for something fun to do that would generate a little sweat and caloric burn for the days that I didn't work out with wii fit plus or EA sports active. To be fair, I tried all the games. I can't say that there was even one game that I really enjoyed. It certainly doesn't give you a workout either. There is more time waiting between games than actual time playing the games. This was a big disappointment for me and a waste of money. I don't even know if younger children would enjoy this. I haven't tried outdoor challenge, but I would bet it is not much different than this.
a blast for the whole family

Reviewer: K. Nystrom,
My kids aged 11, 9 and 7 plus dad and me LOVE this game. What we love about the wii (getting into the game and not just sitting there with a controller) is what this one is all about. We live in a COLD climate and are always looking for ways to move our bodies in the winter and this is a great way. It's totally appropriate for all ages as well.
Lots of fun for everyone!

This game has provided as much fun and exercise than the wii fit for our family because it plays 2 players at the same time. (and my 6 year old kicks my behind on jump-roping) Again I have found my husband playing it alone trying to beat other's scores. Great game, similar to dance mats with 2 player capabilities. I would recommend it.
Good for younger kids

The game was a little over-rated. I thought the graphics were below average. I also think that some of the games are not as fun as expected due to the graphics. I think younger kids may think its more fun than adults.
Fun For Some!

Bought this for Christmas, and have been a bit surprised at the sporadic play. Some of my kids like this game a lot, primarily my 6 and 11 year-olds. My teens aren't so fond of the game. I think the nature of the activities naturally appeals to the pre-teen child, particularly the skateboarding and skiing. There certainly is a cardiovascular benefit to some of the actions kids have to engage in for the games. I'm not disappointed in this purchase, but do suggest it isn't truly a family game, as the descriptions might suggest. Consider this more for grade-schoolers.
